Lena Horne Has Passed Away

Screen Legend and Fame Songstress Lena Horne has passed away at the age of 92, From the New York Times:

Lena Horne, who was the first black performer to be signed to a long-term contract by a major Hollywood studio and who went on to achieve international fame as a singer, died on Sunday night at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York. She was 92 and lived in Manhattan.

In my mind, I have equated Lena to the other greats like Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone and Sarah Vaughan. It's always sad when someone so irreplaceable passes away. RIP, thanks for everything.
